Variety: ABGAL’s Liners and Covers are used in many applications to contain or cover liquids, bulk materials and other objects. They are subjected to a wide range of conditions such as climate extremes, chemicals, fuels, abrasion and general use. Therefore there is no single, all-purpose fabric. It is essential that all relative information associated with the application and operation is clearly defined so we can specify suitable fabrics for your application. Company Profile
ABGAL Liners and Covers is a family business that has been manufacturing high quality products for Australians and the world since 1976. Founded by Alan and Bev Long and quickly expanding with the addition of their two children Garry & Amanda, ABGAL opened a Victorian branch with Bev's brother Allan Rebecca in 1987. You can rely on the integrity of the Long family, and their proud Australian company.
And where did the name "ABGAL" come from? Here is a small piece of trivia…
Due to their unique blend of quality, service & excellence, ABGAL is Australasia’s largest manufacturer of pool liners and covers, and are recognised market leaders within their many fields of expertise. Products include above and inground pool liners, pool covers and solar blankets, tank liners and covers, dam liners and covers and large vinyl membranes. The ultra-modern operations facility is an impressive 6,600m² at Crestmead, Queensland and supplies over 15,000 liners and covers per year.
Sophisticated technologies have been adopted in areas of computer design, robotic cutting and automotive systems which allows us to complete the manufacture of all sizes and shapes of liners and covers, custom-designed to fit beautifully. ABGAL liners are unique because they are 'wedge-welded'. This process produces a stronger welded join and eliminates the unsightly excess material that hangs out past the weld, as seen on many other liners. It also stops pool cleaners getting caught during their cleaning cycle. When pool and water are clean, the wedge-welding advantage is that the welds are nearly invisible.
ABGAL were the first liner manufacturer in Australia to progress from manual design and cutting through to a unique 3D design computer program and manufacture (CAD/CAM) system. ABGAL’s advanced bar-coding system gives customers the unique ability of tracking their job status and product availability.
ABGAL also export both above and inground swimming pool liners to all parts of the world, capturing a portion of the European market. Their tank liners and large membranes are also exported throughout the world.
