Choice of fabrics

ABGAL uses specialist fabrics, designed for ease of handling. The SuperDry PE offers an affordable solution to your wicket covering needs. SuperDry PVC offers a more flexible cover that literally “hugs” the ground and is less likely to move in windy conditions. It also contains UV inhibitors, and is treated to resist microbial growth.

Pegging the cover down

Cricket Covers Corner Pegged

Most professional Curators use re-cycled valve stems from their local car wrecker as they are stronger, longer lasting and the perfect shape to peg the pitch cover to the ground. Plastic pegs from a camping outlet are also suitable, but we do not recommend the use of tent pegs, as they may damage the fabric.

Go to the Cricket Pitch Cover Quote Form page for descriptions about ABGAL’s standard sizes and optional extras. Don't forget though - covers can be made to any size or shape, to suit individual requirements.
