My instruction/warranty CD Rom does not work.
Are you running it in a computer? (The CD does not work in a CD player or in a DVD player). If the CD is faulty for some reason, you can find the majority of the information contained on our website. For warranty registrations, please call our sales team on 1800 077 533.
Warranty CD doesn't playback video on Windows Vista.
You need a minimum of Media Player 11 to run the Video playback on Vista, please use Windows Update or browse to the following site and download the latest version of Media Player:

How do I get my business listed in ABGAL's referral system?
Our IVR system is a free service which we provide to some of our regular customers. Generally, inclusion is based on a minimum dollar spend. If you would like to be involved, give us a call and we'll see what we can do for you.
WATER TANKS
How do I measure my tank?
For a round tank, measure the (internal) height and diameter. For square or rectangular tanks, measure the (internal) depth, width and length. The correct measurements are important, as each liner is custom made to fit.
Can I use a liner in my old galvanised or concrete tank?
If the tank is structurally sound and can still hold its full volume of water, a liner is ideal.

What silicone sealant can I use on my PVC liner?
Any non-acetic neutral cure silicone from hardware stores.
Can you put a vinyl liner into an inground pool?
Yes, in fact we think this is the best pool finish for you and your family, as it is smooth to touch and easy to keep clean (no scrubbing).
POOL COVERS
Which way up does my solar blanket go on the water?
The blanket should float evenly on the pool, bubble side down. The bubbles help the blanket to 'stick' to the water.
What are the main benefits to using a pool blanket?
Using a pool blanket has many benefits. 1. They prevent up to 99% of evaporation, saving thousands of litres of water every year. 2. Solar (bubble) blankets will heat pool water by up to 8 degrees, extending your swimming season. 3. A blanket will reduce chemical consumption by around 50%. 4. A well fitted blanket will keep leaves and debris out of the pool. 5. Less leaves and less chemicals means less maintenance.
Do ABGAL pool covers qualify for any save water rebates?
Yes they do. Currently, pool owners can cash in on rebates offered by available government schemes. Please refer to the rebates page on our website for further information on current rebates.
Do ABGAL pool covers carry the Smart Approved WaterMark and what does this mean?
The Smart Approved WaterMark is an independant outdoor water saving labelling program for products and services that help to reduce water use around the home. Many rebate schemes require a blanket to carry the mark before it is eligible for water saving rebates.

Are Pool Covers easy to use? Aren't they heavy?
Yes, pool covers are easy to use. In fact, a pool blanket and roller system can be used quickly and easily by a child of primary school age. No, they're not heavy at all. They are lightweight and easy to handle.
What is the main difference between each type of blanket?

SHADE SAILS
Who can access Shade-Calc, and how much does it cost?
Shade-Calc is only available to ABGAL customers who register to use it. Registration and use is free for on-going orders.
What sort of fittings can you supply with my shade sail?
All fittings are stainless steel and hydraulic pressed, available in Triangle, D Ring or D Ring Ezy Slide.
How are pockets and seams sewn?
As a standard, all pockets and seams are folded facing up, and pockets are single folded. All stitching is twin sewn (with twin needles). Seams facing down and other variations are all available on request.
What colour thread is used for stitching?
All stitching is twin sewn, using either white or black thread.
I am using sliders. Can you give me a theoretical length for cable?
Yes, even with sliders, we can still give you a theoretical length for cable. It should be noted though, that we do not recommend the use of sliders, as they can cause fabric to be over-tensioned.
