Many Australian councils and Government groups are currently offering rebates and other incentive schemes to encourage residents to conserve water. Before buying a pool blanket, you should ensure that the blanket you are looking at is eligible for your local rebate scheme, as criteria change from council to council. Home WaterWise Rebate Scheme - The Queensland Government offers up to $200 rebate for a swimming pool cover, a swimming pool roller, or a swimming pool cover and roller. The rebate is available statewide, for swimming pool covers with a minimum 25 square metre surface and a minimum material thickness of 400 microns.
